Ever since the Province announced yesterday that they and the Feds were adding an East Mountain Only clause to their Pan Am contribution I have felt ill. How can this happen? This level of back-room deal making is the stuff of Hollywood or a best selling Tom Clancy novel. With the strong smell of collusion and skullduggery I half expect Jack Ryan himself to pop into this story next.
I am ashamed of our governments. I could have accepted Council picking the East Mountain site, but it shouldn’t be this way. My hope now is that people speak out and voice their anger and kill this shady stadium deal.
