Questions: If there are so many East Mountain supporters why do the Ticats hide them away on their goeastmountain.com site and require people to show support *before* reading others’ comments?
Why do various online polls on the subject start out with fantastic support for West Harbour and then even up literally over night? Was there some organized effort to wake up at 3am and answer a web poll?
Why do comments accompanying these polls tend to favour the West Harbour 80-20 when the polls don’t? Are East Mountain supporters really all that shy?
Why are there over 1000 members of the leading West Harbour facebook group and the only pro-east mountain I could find today (where did they all go?) has 40 members. (seriously, if somebody can provide accurate counts of the other facebook pages please do so)
As the Ticat fans known as the “Box J boys” indicated this week on the Ticats.ca forums, there’s a big split between Ticat fans themselves, but what about the rest of us? It doesn’t look like Hamilton shares the same feeling and that in reality the support for West Harbour is overwhelming.
If only we could take this to a referendum in October.
